The Marketing department develops and implements creative marketing campaigns including advertising, social media, and bookstore displays. Marketers work closely with sales to learn what’s happening in the market and, to help them promote and share their enthusiasm about books and writers.

INTERNSHIP PROGRAM DETAILS
Penguin Random House offers an immersive 20-week PAID, REMOTE internship opportunity through the Fall 2025 and Spring 2026, available in our adult, children’s, and corporate divisions. Interns will have the opportunity to learn how to create marketing book campaigns, projects to develop skills in marketing books and receive robust training from our marketing teams to support professional growth . Our interns are also exposed to the publishing process and our business through panels, networking events, and a mentoring program!
What you study does not matter! We are looking for your desire to work with books, your drive to learn and your curiosity for the publishing industry.

REQUIREMENTS & ELIGIBILITY
Interns are paid $21/hour.
