POSITION SUMMARY:

As an Access Partnerships Consultant, you will leverage your clinical expertise in Hematology Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) to build new strategic partnerships within integrated delivery and provider networks and among key stakeholders in the ecosystem. This is a new position which will play a pivotal role in advancing our organization's mission to increase access to transplant. You will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and advancing strategic partnerships that will allow NMDP to reach patients earlier in their disease through our access programs and resources and ultimately have meaningful impact on patient experience and outcomes.

This role will work across the US and collaborate closely with NMDP's local provider partnership (LPP) team responsible for managing relationships with regional transplant centers and community practices. Effective communication and collaboration between the Access Partnerships Consultant and the LPP team is essential to ensure a seamless experience.

An ideal candidate will possess robust clinical expertise in both hematology oncology and Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT), coupled with comprehension of the treatment landscape and barriers to accessing BMT. Success in this role requires confidence in articulating clinical knowledge, engaging in research discussions, and adeptly navigating business conversations at the executive leadership level. The ability to foster trust and exert influence, both internally and externally, is crucial. Additionally, the candidate should feel comfortable navigating ambiguity, working independently, and adapting to change.
