Assistant Plant Manager

Position Overview
The Assistant Plant Manager will assist the Plant Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring efficient production processes, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety in the manufacturing environment. This role is crucial in supporting the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the daily operations of the plant to ensure production targets are met.
• Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Support the Plant Manager in developing and implementing cost control measures and operational improvements.
• Collaborate with team members to identify and address production challenges and opportunities for growth.
• Participate in training and development programs for plant personnel to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Assist in maintaining compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to the development and execution of quality control procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong understanding of production processes, quality assurance, and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership and personnel management skills.
• Ability to analyze operational measures and implement continuous improvement strategies.
• Familiarity with food production preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
