Assistant Sales Manager / Designer At Closets by Design – Chicago North based in Bartlett, we design, manufacture, and install a complete line of custom home organization systems. Our current growth has created a need for a matrixed role of Assistant Sales Manager & Designer, to support and develop our in-home sales as well as our team of Sales Managers. This position is a full time position, where a portion of the role will be an Assistant Sales Manager and the other portion, a Designer Assistant Sales Manager Responsibilities:

• Assist the sales managers with daily tasks.
• Assist with interviewing and recruiting sales people.
• Field calls from sales staff.
• Act as a training assistant in both one-on-one and group settings.
• Manage unsold jobs program.
• Monitor and track sales milestones.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a sales coordination or administrative role.
• Some personal sales background of at least 1 year with a track record
• Commitment to follow our proven, successful sales model
• Proficient in analyzing sales numbers
• Working knowledge of Windows Office, Excel.
• Experience working with customers
• Ability to work independently as well as with a team.

For the Designer portion of the role, we are looking for someone with:

This is a combined role that is full-time overall where part of the role is an Assistant Sales Manager and the other portion is a Sales/Designer working with clients in their home. The Assistant Sales Manager portion is salaried and the Sales/Designer role is commissioned. Schedule: Full Time Job Split between:

• Weekday Appts and/or Designer support as needed
