Job Description:

Client is seeking strong Automation developer with good experience in design and development of web-based cloud applications, working knowledge in Sprint model on Agile methodology platform, having working knowledge of HP ALM, JIRA tools and ability to write queries in PL/SQL. Working knowledge of NIFI, Camunda on hybrid cloud environment (preferably AWS) is a must.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

• At least 4+ years of experience in development of Automation development
• Experience with TestNG, JUnit, XML, and Data Providers to work differently with a different set of data with TestNG, Selenium.
• At least 3+ years of experience on SQL and databases
• Worked on different frameworks like Data-Driven, Keyword Driven, Hybrid Driven also experience in Behavior-driven Development (BDD) approach.
• Candidate must be located in Saint Louis, MO or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Detailed understanding of RESTful web services, API Gateway, Kafka, Microservices
• Expertise in Appdynamics, micro strategy, Data dog, Elastic search
• Working experience with Design and build automation test frameworks for Webservice and messaging applications.
• Hands on experience in rest Automation frameworks like Karate, Cucumber, Rest Assured, SoapUI, Postman
• Expert in Test preparation, test design, execution and reporting
• Knowledge on Snowflake Database, Schema, and Table structures.
• Experienced with Cucumber Framework using Gherkins.
• Expertise in performing Mobile Automation Testing using Appium.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Json and XML message format and status codes.
• Thorough understanding of software engineering and object-oriented design principles
• Demonstrated knowledge of development of Microservices using Java, Spring Boot technologies
• Ability to setup and execute build tools like Maven, and Ant
• Hands on approach

Experience and competencies

• Total IT experience at least 4+ years especially in Software Development
• Extensive experience in AWS, cloudwatch, pinpoint and amazon connect
• 3+ year experience working with Java, automation development database technologies
• Should have experience in working in Agile Methodology and familiarity in Agile processes for e.g. Sprints and Daily Stand Ups
• Experienced and hands on in understanding requirement stories in JIRA, building out Test Cases from stories, executing Test Cases and raising defects
• Hands on a must with tools like ALM and JIRA and nice to have experience working on Automation tools
• Experienced in coordination with an offshore team of 4 -6 people
• Experienced in performing reviews for offshore deliverables
• Experience in Cross Browser Testing using Selenium Grid.
• Experience in working with different tools like Apache POI doing Data-driven testing.
• Experience using defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Rally and HP Quality center for Issue tracking.
• Experience in Sanity, backend, front-end, functional, integration, regression, Smoke, cross-browser, cross-platform, QTP/UFT, performance, and stress testing.
• Nice to have experience in querying billing systems for test data. Should have working knowledge of SQL and databases
• Good communication skills required for interacting with client and ability to clearly put across viewpoints when interacting with Business stakeholders.
