POSITION PURPOSE: 

We are seeking a qualified Behavioral Health Manager to join our dedicated team in the Health, Wellness, and Fitness industry. This pivotal role requires expertise in behavioral health management, enabling the successful candidate to oversee and enhance the delivery of mental health services within our organization. The Behavioral Health Manager will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and evaluating programs that address the psychological well-being of our clients, ensuring that all services adhere to the highest standards of care and professionalism. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of behavioral health practices, along with strong leadership abilities that foster a collaborative and supportive team environment. This position encompasses the responsibility of supervising and mentoring staff, developing treatment plans, and engaging in community outreach initiatives. Additionally, the Behavioral Health Manager will work closely with healthcare providers to ensure a continuum of care, thus promoting overall health and wellness. Position Duties:

  • Oversee the daily operations of behavioral health services to ensure high-quality care.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.
  • Supervise and mentor behavioral health professionals and support staff to enhance team performance.
  • Conduct regular training and development programs for staff to ensure compliance with best practices.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote integrated and holistic care.
  • Engage in community outreach efforts to educate and support clients regarding mental health services.
  • Monitor and analyze service delivery metrics to continuously improve program effectiveness.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required. 
  • Licensed LCSW, LPC, LMFT or Psychologist licensed in Oregon; or current license with ability to obtain an Oregon license.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in behavioral health management or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of mental health regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience in staff supervision and development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients and teams. 
  • Experience working with Native American/Alaskan Native populations or other marginalized populations.
