Job Description



The Business Account Liaison position will provide specialized services to employers in North Central Texas around common goals and actions to support their existing and future talent. This position partners with business and industry leaders to develop talent employment strategies that align with business needs, with an emphasis on small to medium-sized businesses. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining lasting and mutually beneficial employer partnerships that result in increased utilization of available workforce services, resources, and initiatives.

  • Implement creative recruiting processes and initiatives for employer engagement and relationship building.
  • Build plans to advance the current workforce by tailoring service delivery and resources offered to employers.
  • Implement strategies that lead to work-based learning initiatives, such as registered apprenticeships, internships, customized training, and on-the-job training.
  • Provide workshops to employers that focus on industry trends, best practices for recruiting and retaining talent, quality job principles, labor market information and other related topics.
  • Conduct employer needs surveys, make recommendations and implement plans to address needs identified in surveys.

  • Create seamless communication channels with the Business Outreach Specialists to ensure timely service delivery.
  • Compile and share information related to employer needs.
  • Track and manage employer relationships using appropriate data management systems.

Other Key Responsibilities

  • Raise Workforce Solutions for North Central Texas brand awareness by sharing events, engaging in initiatives and participating in WSNCT events.
  • Daily coordination with workforce center staff and Business Outreach Specialists to facilitate job orders, direct placements, hiring events, work based learning and other employer services.
  • Enter employer information into systems of record (WIT and CRM) and provide contextualized reports.
  • Meet performance goals on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis.
  • May be assigned other tasks and duties reasonably related to the job responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college in marketing, business, human services, or a related field or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree. SHRM certification preferred.
  • Three years’ experience in sales, marketing, human resources or a related field.
  • Proven ability to manage employer/vendor relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
  • Demonstrated telephone, computer and written communication skills.
  • Microsoft Office skills required, including PowerPoint.
  • Microsoft Business Intelligence experience preferred.
  • Valid Driver’s License in good standing and proof of liability insurance are required.
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) experience strongly preferred.
  • Public speaking experience preferred
