Job Description: Corporate Finance Analyst

Position Overview: We are seeking a proactive and analytical Corporate Finance Analyst to join our finance team. The Corporate Finance Analyst will play a key role in supporting financial planning, analysis, and decision-making processes within our organization. This position requires strong financial modeling skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to provide actionable insights to senior management.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis, including variance analysis, financial modeling, and forecasting, to support strategic initiatives and decision-making.
  2. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, long-range financial forecasts, and strategic plans, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and objectives.
  3. Capital Budgeting: Evaluate investment opportunities and capital expenditures, perform ROI analysis, and recommend allocation of financial resources.
  4. M&A and Due Diligence: Support merger and acquisition activities, including financial due diligence, valuation analysis, and integration planning.
  5. Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key performance metrics and trends.
  6. Risk Management: Assess financial risks and opportunities, develop risk mitigation strategies, and monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) to ensure financial stability and compliance.
  7. Strategic Planning: Assist in developing and evaluating strategic initiatives, conducting market research, and analyzing competitive dynamics to support business growth and expansion.
  8. Investor Relations: Support investor relations activities, including preparing presentations, financial disclosures, and responding to investor inquiries.
  9. Advisory and Decision Support: Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management on business performance, profitability, and operational efficiencies.
  10. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and efficiency enhancements within the finance function.

Skills Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree or CPA/CFA certification preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Corporate Finance Analyst, Financial Analyst, or in a similar role within corporate finance or investment banking.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and financial analysis techniques.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate financial information and recommendations clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of financial systems and ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is advantageous.
  • Ethical standards and integrity in handling confidential financial information and sensitive data.
