We are a private dental practice delivering excellent and compassionate care to our community in Parker and beyond for over 15 years. We serve both adults and children with all their general dentistry needs and have enjoyed much longevity with both our patients and staff. We are a connected and supportive team striving to create an atmosphere of ease and trust for our patients. We are seeking a motivated and caring office assistant with at least 1 year of office experience to add to our team. The right person will be detail oriented, understanding of patients' needs and concerns, strive for excellence, reliable, and desires to be part of a family-oriented team.
Responsibilities: A day in the life of our office staff: *Arrive at 7:45 to be ready for patients arriving at 8am. We see patients 8-5 on M,W,Th, 8-6 on T, and 8-3 on F.*Be the first friendly face to greet patients as well as the last staff member with which patients interact.*Check in patients, help them complete needed paperwork*Update patient files*Verify patients' insurance through phone, fax, and email*Answer phones and schedule patient appointments*Check out patients, collect payments, and explain additional treatments*Maintain compliance with HIPAA standards*Produce treatment plans and cost estimates*Monthly, send out outstanding balance statements, send collection emails, and make collection calls*Maintain staff schedule and schedule any temporary clinicians.
Requirements: High School Diploma1 year office experience1 year dental experience preferredMotivated to learn new skillsExcellent computer skillsExperience with Apple products and MacPractice dental software a plus, but not requiredExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAble to work independently as well as be a part of a close team
