Direct Response Marketing Specialist
Are you a strategic and data-driven marketer with a passion for direct response campaigns? We're looking for a Direct Response Marketing Specialist to take the lead on our direct mail marketing initiatives. In this role, you'll develop and optimize campaigns that drive engagement, generate leads, and contribute to revenue growth.
This position offers flexibility, with the option to work on a hybrid basis (1-2 days per week in our Chicago-area or Rye Brook, NY office) or, for the right candidate, a fully remote arrangement.
What You'll Do
Lead and execute direct mail marketing campaigns from start to finish, ensuring they effectively generate leads and drive revenue.
Manage and optimize list procurement activities in collaboration with third-party vendors, databases, and mail houses.
Analyze campaign performance metrics (e.g., response rates, ROI, and conversion rates) to refine strategies and enhance results.
Oversee budgets and timelines, ensuring campaigns are executed efficiently and within budget.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including digital marketing and sales, to align marketing strategies with business goals.
Test and refine direct mail approaches, offers, and creative elements to maximize performance and meet key performance indicators (KPIs).
Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our marketing efforts remain innovative and competitive.
What We're Looking For
5-7 years of experience in direct response marketing, with a proven track record of successful direct mail campaigns.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
Experience integrating digital direct marketing with direct mail campaigns is a plus.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making and campaign improvements.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
Familiarity with NetSuite and PowerBI is a plus, but experience with other CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, and analytics tools is desirable.
High proficiency in Excel and data analysis.
Experience managing external vendors within the direct mail ecosystem.
Detail-oriented and results-driven, with a focus on optimizing marketing performance.
