Job Description: As an Electrical Estimator, you will play a key role in our projects, providing detailed cost analysis and budgeting for electrical systems. Your insights will guide decision-making processes from the initial bidding stage through to project completion. You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure that all electrical estimates are accurate and competitive.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical systems, including materials, labor, and other associated costs.
* Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
* Consult with subcontractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
* Participate in proposal preparation and client presentations.
* Assess cost effectiveness of products, projects, or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops.
* Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and regulations.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
* Proven experience as an electrical estimator in the construction industry.
* Strong understanding of electrical systems and components.
* Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
* Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
