Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering.
Experience: 5+ years in circuit board design and development (discrete logic, RF PCBs).
Skills: Proficient in schematic capture and PCB layout using Altium; circuit simulation using LT Spice or similar tools.
Hands-On Experience: With single-board computers, microcontrollers, FPGAs, and RF components.
Knowledge: Ability to read datasheets and use electronic test equipment (logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers).
Programming: Proficient in languages like C++, Python, or MATLAB; experience with FPGA programming (VHDL or Verilog) is a plus.
Technical Proficiency: Fluent in Linux, Windows, and Mac OS; skilled with Microsoft Office (Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Word).
Communication: Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

As a Senior Electrical Engineer , you'll play a multifaceted role, focusing on the analysis, design, implementation, and optimization of subsystems for our nanosatellite bus and communications payload. You’ll collaborate with other engineers to design and assemble circuit boards and engage in the iterative design, integration, and testing of our hardware and software.
Design & Development: Design spacecraft bus and payload hardware (e.g., FPGAs, sensors, amplifiers) and associated software.
Circuit Board Work: Create schematics, select components, develop layouts, assemble and test circuit boards.
Firmware Development: Generate firmware and test software for circuit boards.
Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for spacecraft design.
Design Reviews: Participate in design reviews at all levels and document failure analyses.
Collaboration: Assist mechanical engineers with the integration of components, considering thermal requirements.
Integration & Testing: Support payload integration, testing, and delivery to launch partners/vendors.
