The Emerge Summer Leadership Institute Program Lead plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Emerge Summer Leadership Institute, overseeing day-to-day logistics, program implementation, and staff coordination. This position is responsible for managing a team of undergraduate student staff, supporting and actively connect with Emerge participants throughout the program, and addressing evening/overnight program needs. This role will also assist with logistic needs such as ensuring supplies are where they need to be during the program. The Program Lead ensures the program's overall success by providing leadership, and guidance and maintaining a positive, inclusive, and engaging environment for all involved.

Position Overview
The Program Lead will work directly with the PES Assistant Director and Student Engagement Coordinator to successfully execute logistics and programming for a successful summer program. This position will also work with the PES Professional Sta and a fellow Program Lead to execute the various components of the program.
Emerge Summer Leadership Institute Program Leads will live on campus for the duration of the program. Housing and meals are included as part of compensation. It is expected this position not work or take courses during the training and program dates (see below). Program Leads will execute day-to-day tasks including program and workshop management, peer mentor supervision, and student excursions. Summer Time Commitment
