Epicor Controller

Position Overview
The Epicor Controller will oversee financial operations and ensure compliance with accounting standards while utilizing Epicor ERP systems. This role is essential for enhancing financial reporting and analysis to support strategic decision-making within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the financial reporting process to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
• Manage the accounting team and provide leadership in financial analysis and decision-making.
• Implement and maintain accounting policies and procedures in alignment with accounting standards.
• Conduct budgeting and forecasting activities to support financial planning.
• Ensure proper revenue recognition and management of cost accounting practices.
• Assist in change management initiatives to enhance financial operations and reporting.
• Coordinate with other departments to gather necessary financial data for reporting and analysis.
• Monitor and manage financial risks and implement risk management strategies.
• Conduct tax law compliance and banking activities as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management or accounting role, with a focus on ERP systems like Epicor.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and practices, including GAAP.
• Experience with product accounting and financial reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools.
• Knowledge of government accounting and cost accounting principles is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and management capabilities.
• Familiarity with change management processes and risk management strategies.
• Experience with budgeting and forecasting techniques.
