Our busy boutique Estate Planning and Probate law firm needs to add an associate attorney to play a key role with clients. You will become part of the team that resolves Estate Planning Issues, either when a loved one has failed to plan and we need to assist the family members, either in Probate, Probate Litigation and Conservatorships, whether they are contested or non-contested. These are trying times for family members and the associate needs to have compassion, and skills to guide clients through this very difficult period of time. We are searching for a highly analytical applicant who possesses strong negotiation and organizational abilities to join our growing firm as a Trust and Probate Litigator with substantial estate planning experience. You will guide clients through the process of trust and probate litigation. Our goal is to guarantee that an estate is managed in accordance with the estate owner's intentions. This role demands a high degree of responsibility. We are searching for an applicant with knowledge in either Trust Litigation, Probate, or other litigation experience, but very knowledgeable in the estate planning area of the law. We are a high-growth, fast-paced boutique law firm specializing in all aspects of Trusts/Estates/Probate/Conservatorships /Trust Litigation/Trust Administration. We are looking for a high-energy associate, looking to touch all sides of Trusts, Conservatorships, Probate, Trust Administration, and Estate Planning. The ideal candidate will have at least a minimum of 5 years (or more) of experience in Trusts/Estates/Trust Litigation/ Probate/ Conservatorships. As a boutique firm, the position requires crossover in all areas of trusts/ probate/ trust litigation/estate planning/ conservatorships. Candidate should be someone who is interested in growing with the firm and is motivated, hard-working, and has an excellent work ethic, but still enjoys a balanced life! • Assist clients effectively by understanding their needs, analyzing the situation, then strategizing and deciding on a proper course of action
• Collaborate with senior partners and paralegals to effectively move files through the Probate and Trust Litigation Process

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills, especially in highly stressful and emotional situations
• Understanding of a variety of real estate matters, including title insurance, wills and trusts, property management, and litigation
• Undergraduate degree with a legal background and Juris Doctor degree required
• Active member of the California Bar Association
