As an Inside Sales Representative, you will play a key role in driving our sales efforts, building strong relationships with clients, and contributing to the overall success of our company. The primary role of the inside sales representative is to meet and exceed sales objectives and support new growth initiatives. This position based out of our HQ building in Ogden Utah involves selling direct to consumers through marketing and lead campaigns. Murphy Door creates unique high end hidden door solutions for customers across the United States & Canada. This is not a remote work position. An in-office work schedule will be required.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Responsible for delivering annual performance targets for designated accounts within assigned territory/channel.
  • Analyze in-bound leads, follow up on sales opportunities and position product solutions in key market segments.
  • Develop new sales opportunities through outbound prospecting in assigned territory/channel.
  • Conduct technical / consultative selling via phone, email, videoconference & chat.
  • Consult with customers regarding products, and applications to meet their needs, recommend appropriate alternatives and provide quotes.
  • Support marketing efforts with the follow up on leads generated by tradeshows, marketing sales campaigns, email marketing, and direct outreach.
  • Utilize sales analytical tools, e.g., Dynamics CRM, to conduct day to day business, target opportunities and close sales.
  • Collaborate with Inside Sales Manager on strategic account and market initiatives.
  • Preserve the company’s CRM integrity through routine data maintenance and data mining.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Operations, Finance, Marketing, and Product Management teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination related to customer orders and account management.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on product changes and applications, continually improving selling skills, and identifying opportunities for process enhancements.
  • Professional Representation: Represent Murphy Door with professionalism, integrity, and a customer-centric approach.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • 2+ years of experience with outbound sales/marketing
  • Professional phone presence and excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding consultative selling abilities and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to stay organized and pay close attention to detail.
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms like Dynamics or Salesforce
  • Computer proficiency especially with MS Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Coachable and open to personal and professional growth opportunities

Education And Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: At least two years related outbound/direct Sales experience required.

Compensation

  • Competitive Base Salary with uncapped commissions. OTE (90k+) Annually
