For which tasks (responsibilities)?

Join Ubisoft Ukraine as a Junior Mission Designer and become a core contributor to groundbreaking AAA project. In this role, you’ll be responsible for designing and implementing engaging missions that integrate seamlessly into the narrative and gameplay of our titles.

Working in cross-disciplinary teams, you will use proprietary tools and scripting systems to create diverse and innovative scenarios that deliver meaningful challenges to players. What kind of professional are we looking for?

Collaborate with different departments to design missions that align with narrative and gameplay goals, creating clear and thorough documentation.

· Use proprietary scripting tools to design encounters, mission objectives, and gameplay sequences that provide varied challenges and player choice.

· Work with cross-functional teams to iterate on mission designs, ensuring alignment with the overall game vision and enhancing gameplay opportunities.

· Provide feedback to other designers, contribute to brainstorming sessions, and refine missions through playtesting and analysis.

· Manage work efficiently, adhering to deadlines and adjusting to project needs.

What is important for us in a person?

· Experience in mission design

· Proficiency in scripting languages and visual scripting tools

· Experience tuning game data in editor tools and implementing gameplay mechanics.

· Strong understanding of mission design principles and ability to document creative ideas effectively.

· Strong understanding of game production pipelines and collaboration tools.

· A passion for delivering unforgettable player experiences.

· English – at least Intermediate level

Would be a plus:

· Experience in level design
