Position : Maintenance & Reliability Engineer

Compensation : $110,000 - $130,000 per year + Bonus, Full Benefits, Relocation Assistance

About the Role

Our client, a growing producer of high-purity GMP chemicals for consumer and industrial use, seeks a skilled Maintenance & Reliability Engineer. You will focus on ensuring the reliability and maintenance of batch reactors, pumps, filters, and heat exchangers using CMMS while contributing to a collaborative engineering team. The role is divided equally between data analysis, hands-on production support, and project collaboration with other engineers. This is a key position in a company preparing for a significant site expansion next year.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintenance & Reliability : Manage and optimize maintenance programs for chemical processing equipment, including reactors, pumps, filters, and heat exchangers.
• Data Analysis : Conduct data mining and analysis to enhance equipment performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Production Support : Work closely with maintenance technicians to provide daily production support, troubleshoot equipment, and resolve technical issues.
• Project Collaboration : Partner with process, project, and controls engineers to improve equipment designs and contribute to plant expansion efforts.
• CMMS Utilization : Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track and improve maintenance efficiency.

Qualifications

• Education : B.S. in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• Experience :
  • Minimum of 3+ years in maintenance and reliability engineering within chemical, food, or pharmaceutical industries.
  • Process/production engineering experience with strong maintenance involvement will be considered.
• Skills :
  • Hands-on experience with batch reactors, pumps, filters, and heat exchangers.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Familiarity with CMMS and data-driven decision-making.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base Salary : $110,000 - $130,000 per year.
