Your role at Baxter

You're a go-getter, looking for a new challenge. You thrive on delighting customers and are looking to start your career in sales and/or marketing

This entry level role will collaborate with teams across the organization on lead management initiatives, with a primary focus on qualifying/developing leads from inbound marketing.

This role reports into Corporate Marketing under the Lead Qualification and Process Manager and is located at either our Deerfield, IL or Skaneateles office.

What you will be doing at Baxter

• Screen/qualify marketing-generated inquiries that are generated through a variety of sources, including events, product trials, 3rd party agency leads, Web form submissions, and digital Marketing campaigns.
• identify customer business needs and pass qualified leads to sales teams for progression and closing.
• Use business intelligence and sales analysis tools and reports to manage/improve opportunity development.
• Keep abreast of product knowledge through continuous personal/professional development, build a reputation as a trusted source and advisor for clients.
• Prioritize customer needs in all interactions and decision-making processes.
• Demonstrate a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Anticipate and address challenges before they impact objectives and goals.
• Develop and implement effective solutions to overcome obstacles and achieve desired outcomes.

What you will bring

• High School degree required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
• Proficiency with MS-Office suite
• Experience with virtual/digital/remote sales techniques and digital working methods preferred
• Experience working with CRM-tools preferred
• Analytical approach to prioritize and qualify leads based on data
• Desire and ability to learn/use digital tools and selling techniques
• Capability to learn/apply the value of Baxter solutions at an intermediate level
• Focused on and motivated by bringing value to the company and your own personal/professional growth
• Keen to develop new business opportunities in a proactive team
• Dedicated, constantly willing to learn and resilient
• Strong personal integrity and an affinity with the medical or technology field
• Ability to travel for training, if needed
• Customer success or sales prospecting experience preferred

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $43,000 - 59,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.
