As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for auditing, systematically loading and unloading transportation vehicles, assembling customer orders with attention to detail, and efficiently moving materials within the facility. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity, meaning the client could hire you directly.

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED
• Forklift Certification (required)
• 1+ years of experience operating a reach truck or cherry picker
• 1+ years of experience with picking processes; RF gun experience is highly preferred
• Ability to stand for the duration of the shift
• Must be comfortable working at elevated heights
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as required

What You’ll Do as a Material Handler

• Select and assemble materials efficiently from storage locations, ensuring all orders are complete, packed, and labeled or marked before moving to staging areas
• Load and unload trucks with precision and following safety protocols
• Operate material handling equipment, including industrial trucks, while adhering to safety guidelines
• Audit finished goods received from production, ensuring accurate documentation is completed
• Coordinate the timely delivery of component materials to designated work areas as directed by the supervisor
• Inspect and maintain power handling equipment regularly, identifying, documenting, and reporting malfunctions or irregular conditions
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure efficiency
• Follow all safety guidelines and regulations to maintain a safe work environment
• Adhere to the production schedule as posted to ensure workflow continuity
• Generate inventory control data for pallets and outbound shipments as requested
• Compile and submit end-of-shift reports on time
• Perform any other duties as assigned
