Job Description

NANNY NEEDED IN DEL MAR FULL-TIME - 40+ hours a week

Wonderful Family in Del Mar is looking for a spectacular Nanny for their Toddler

Position Overview:

Must have at least 5+ years as a Nanny and Toddler and preschool-age experience.
Schedule: Monday thru Friday - 6am-4-6pm and can vary.
Must be active and fun! Loves to go outside and helps mom with all she needs!
Background in daycares or preschools is a plus!
The ideal candidate is sweet, caring, and reliable. Understands Sensory play, arts and crafts, reading, and teaching for infants/toddlers.
Teaching and learning through play is important to the family.
Outdoor activities with a toddler - pick up from school - help in mornings with the toddler
Also, the nanny must do meal prep/cooking for lunch and dinner at times.
Nanny must help with light cleaning, tidying, sweeping, vacumming, dishes, wipe down counters, meal prep, laundry, folding linens, and organizing.
Some date nights and weekends.

Professional Nanny Duties:

Nany must have at least 5+ years experience as a Nanny for families long term.
Pay: $27-$30/hour. Sometimes extra hours on certain weeks.
Nanny must be proficient in working with toddlers: sensory play and motor skills. Singing and reading, engaging with children. Take toddlers on walks to parks. Help with learning and milestones. Understands sleep training. Montessori training is wonderful.
Educational Degree in Childcare is preferred.
Training with toddler to school age in Daycare/Preschools
Nanny needs to be CPR Certified and trained.
Background Checks will be performed.
We require 2-3 References.
