Position Summary:

Lead and manage key operational projects from inception to completion, with a strong focus on continuous process improvement. Ensure projects are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget, while aligning with the company's strategic goals. Coordinate cross-functional teams, maintain clear communication, drive process enhancements, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Execution: Plan, execute, and oversee projects to ensure they meet the objectives outlined in the project plan. Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management. Monitor project progress, track milestones, and adjust plans as necessary to stay on schedule. Manage project scope changes and ensure all changes are documented and approved as necessary. Report on project status, challenges, and solutions to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Team Coordination and Collaboration: Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution and problem-solving. Foster a culture of continuous improvement within project teams and across the organization. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support project success.
  • Process Improvement and Best Practices: Identify, analyze, and implement process improvements to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness. Lead and facilitate process improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or similar frameworks. Implement and maintain best practices in project management and operational workflows. Develop and maintain documentation for process changes and best practices for future projects.
  • Evaluation and Continuous Improvement: Analyze project outcomes to identify areas for continuous improvement and share learnings with the team. Lead post-project evaluations and provide recommendations for future project enhancements. Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations throughout project execution.
  • Leadership: May have leadership responsibilities for administrative staff, that includes but is not limited to general work direction, coaching/mentoring, and addressing performance feedback

To be considered for this opportunity, you must meet all of the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an operational role to include experience with project management and process improvement initiatives required
  • Expertise in process mapping and improvement strategies preferred
  • Strong leadership and team management skills required
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities required
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making capabilities required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both orally and written, required
  • Attention to detail and a results-driven approach required
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment required
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with tight deadlines required
  • Ability to analyze processes and recommend effective improvements required
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
