Job Description

A top Atlanta law firm seeks an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support a busy group of attorneys. This paralegal will work closely with attorneys throughout all stages of construction-related litigation as well as assist with other practice areas. Candidates must have prior supporting attorneys in a heavy litigation role. Daily onsite attendance is required and some overtime may be necessary.

Duties:

• Draft and assist with legal documents, including motions, subpoenas, and court filings.
• Prepare materials for depositions, hearings, trials, and arbitrations.
• Summarize depositions and manage case information.
• Conduct online legal research and document reviews.
• Assist with pretrial motions, trial binders, and exhibits.
• Support attorneys during depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Handle document discovery, including e-discovery and document production.
• Manage case deadlines and maintain attorneys' calendars.
• Coordinate with attorneys, clients, opposing counsel, and vendors.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate.
• At least 3 years of litigation experience.
• Trial preparation experience required.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in legal research tools, Microsoft Office, and document management systems.
• Familiarity with State and Federal Civil Practice Rules and e-filing procedures.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently or within a team.
