Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Assistant to support our payroll operations. In this role, you will help process employee payments, maintain payroll records, and ensure compliance with company policies and labor regulations. You will work closely with the HR and finance teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness in all payroll-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in processing payroll for employees accurately and on time.
  • Maintain payroll records, including wages, deductions, and bonuses.
  • Verify employee hours, overtime, and paid leave.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company payroll policies.
  • Address employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist with tax filings, benefits deductions, and direct deposit setups.
  • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure seamless payroll operations.
  • Stay updated on payroll regulations and labor laws.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or HR preferred).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to process payroll accurately and identify discrepancies.
  • Communication Skills: Strong ability to handle payroll-related inquiries with professionalism.
  • Confidentiality: Ability to manage sensitive employee data securely.
