Description of the role: The PBX Operator at HR Employer Solutions Group in West Palm Beach, Florida is responsible for operating the company's PBX telephone system. The PBX Operator will handle incoming and outgoing calls, transfer calls to appropriate departments or individuals, and assist callers with general inquiries. Responsibilities:

• Operate and manage the company's PBX telephone system.
• Answer incoming calls, greet callers, and provide friendly and professional assistance.
• Transfer calls to the appropriate departments or individuals.
• Handle outgoing calls and make necessary connections.
• Assist callers with general inquiries and provide accurate information.
• Maintain call logs and documentation of call details.
• Follow company procedures and protocols for call handling and transferring.
• Assist with administrative tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a PBX Operator or in a similar role is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Professional phone etiquette and customer service skills.
• Ability to handle multiple calls simultaneous and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in call handling and documentation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in using telephone systems and technology.
