Contemporary Staffing Solutions (CSS) is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager to join our client in Pewaukee, WI. This permanent opportunity offers up to $150,000 annually! The Pharmacy Manager will lead and oversee pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and the delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical services. This role involves managing pharmacy staff, optimizing operations, and maintaining adherence to professional standards while supporting patient care through accurate medication dispensing and clinical monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily pharmacy operations to ensure efficiency, compliance, and exceptional patient care.

• Maintain knowledge of and adherence to USP 797 and USP 800 standards, along with current state and federal pharmacy regulations.

• Oversee the preparation, compounding, and dispensing of medications and solutions as prescribed by authorized medical personnel.

• Ensure compliance with all licensing and regulatory requirements for pharmacy practices.

• Conduct patient assessments and develop, implement, and revise care plans to address drug-related needs or concerns.

• Supervise and guide pharmacy staff, including pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and interns, ensuring the accuracy of all prepared medications.

• Oversee the handling, security, and documentation of controlled substances in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Collaborate with physicians, referral sources, and the sales team to provide expert drug information and support team initiatives.

• Participate in on-call scheduling, providing coverage as needed to ensure continuity of care.

• Manage recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and professional development for pharmacy team members.

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) or Registered Pharmacist (R.Ph.) with relevant clinical experience.

• Active and applicable state pharmacy license; additional licensure may be required based on state regulations.

• Post-graduate training in pharmacy or related fields.

• Specialty pharmacy and infusion experience preferred.

• Minimum of 7 years of pharmacist experience, including expertise in compounding.

• Proficiency with pharmacy management software and tools such as Microsoft Office Suite.

• Strong customer service skills and ability to lead a team effectively.
