Education Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Engineering or equivalent experience, plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant supervisory experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience to meet managerial expectations.
Clearance Requirements:
Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities for this PositionGeneral Dynamics Mission Systems has an immediate opening for a Product Owner for a program utilizing the Scaled Agile Framework ( SAFe ) . This position provides an opportunity to further advance the cutting-edge technology that supports some of our nations core defense/intelligence services and systems . General Dynamics Mission Systems employees work closely with esteemed customers to develop solutions that allow them to carry out high-stakes national security missions.
The Product Owner ( SAFe ) is responsible for representing the customer's needs to the development team by managing the product backlog, prioritizing features, defining user stories, and ensuring the team delivers maximum value by aligning product development with business goals, acting as the primary liaison between stakeholders and the agile team throughout the integration and delivery process .
