Apparel Solutions is a leader in Woman's Private Label Apparel and looking for a full time Apparel Production Manager Position. Company has been in business for over 20 Years and has its own manufacturing facilities both in India and China. We sell Celebrity brands as well as Private labels to mass market retailers like Macys, Walmart, TJ Maxx, QVC, HSN , Ashley Stewart, Belk, Bealls, Dillards etc. Job location is in Secaucus, NJ Job description We are seeking a highly motivated, engaged and detail-oriented Production Manager to assist with knits & woven and specialty private label accounts. Duties include but not limited to Coordinate with design for release of tech paks and swatches for initial costing. Obtain and maintain initial line costing from factories followed by final negotiations. Understand measurements and how to read fit comments for interaction with overseas offices. Track and manage purchase orders and ensure all orders are in line with customer requirements. Understanding of the production process and lead-times. Review vendor WIP reports weekly & follow up on pending items. Familiar with production SOP and terminology Purchase price tickets & raw materials as needed for Domestic US manufacturing. Track submits and ensure comments are going out in a timely manner from cross-functional teams. Answer all emails regarding customer pack ways, carton markings, ticketing, etc. based on vendor manuals. Communicate with customers on all private label submits/orders. Review test reports & troubleshoot failures with management. Cross check shipping documents for domestic factories Data entry into customer portals for specialized private label accounts Able to handle heavy data entry into various excel spreadsheets throughout the day. Exceptional time management and organizational skills with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and communicate with both China and India when needed even after business hours. Experience 5 plus years of experience in Women’s Apparel Manufacturing. Actual hands-on experience in a Apparel Manufacturing factory is a plus.
