JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Prepare and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
* Monitor project costs and expenditures, ensuring alignment with budgetary constraints.
* Process accounts payable and receivable related to projects.
* Reconcile project-related accounts and prepare monthly financial statements.
* Generate and analyze financial reports for project managers and stakeholders.
* Provide insights on project performance, including profitability and cash flow.
* Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and industry regulations.
* Assist in audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports.
* Work closely with project managers to understand financial requirements and project timelines.
* Provide financial guidance and support to project teams.
* Identify opportunities for process improvements in accounting practices.
* Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in project accounting.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor"s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
* 2+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or project-based environment.
* Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., ERP systems) and Microsoft Excel.
* Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* MBA, CMA or CPA or equivalent certification.
* Experience with job costing and project management accounting.
* Knowledge of manufacturing processes and cost accounting principles.
* Experience with ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central experience
