MSA has an opportunity for a full time Project Engineer - Transportation . The position is based in the Duluth, MN office . Integrity * Dedication * Creative * Mindful * Resourceful * Authentic Responsibilities WHAT YOU WILL DO - Project management inclu ding project planning, scoping, budgeting and QA/QC
- Client relations including virtual or applicable in person meetings with existing and new clients
- Design of transportation infrastructure projects including roadways, bridges and trails
- Preparation of details, specifications, and bidding documents
- Preparation of technical reports and regulatory permits for projects
- Review and respond to proposals for projects with assistance from MSA team members
- Assist with mentoring junior staff
- Construction management and inspection experience a plus
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD or MicroStation and 3D design based associated platform on highway improvement projects
- Public meeting presentation displays and public engagement
Qualifications WHAT YOU BRING - Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required
- Minimum of 4 years of mobility/transportation engineering experience is required
- PE license required (MN PE preferred)
- MnDOT and WisDOT project experience preferred
- Bentley OpenRoads design experience preferred
- Previous client liaison and project management experience or a desire to step into that role is required
- Self-motivated worker who values employee-owned company culture

Best-in-industry Benefits The salary for this position ranges from $79,000 to $126,500, with higher compensation available for candidates with significant experience and exceptional qualifications. Candidates with extensive experience may also be considered for a higher-level position within the company, with a corresponding increase in salary.
