We are seeking experienced, USA-based individuals for a 1099 contract position. If you are passionate about travel and have a strong sales drive, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
**Requirements:**
- Minimum of 5 years as an accredited travel agent with an active PRIN.
- Verifiable sales and earnings through your existing agency or host.
- Active social media presence or other established sales channels.
- Ability to achieve a minimum of $100k in sales within the first six months.

**What You'll Do:**
As an Independent Travel Advisor, you will cater to elite business and luxury leisure travelers. Your main responsibilities will include selling international and domestic travel services such as hotel stays, flights, cruises, rental cars, and tour packages. You will also help build travel itineraries and share your knowledge and expertise from personal experiences and/or education. The goal is to develop long-standing relationships with customers to build referral and repeat business.
**Work Environment:**
- This position is primarily remote, allowing you to work from home.
- You will be required to attend some annual conferences and meetings.
- Mandatory weekly updates, training, and sales meetings will be conducted via remote video.
- Team members often have informal get-togethers in their regions, which are highly encouraged but not mandatory.

**Required / Preferred Skills:**
- A college degree is required, preferably in business, hospitality, or marketing.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive criminal background check.
- At least 5 years of proven travel sales experience in an outbound sales setting.
- Availability to work irregular hours and some evenings to support customers.
- Strong organizational skills and a comfortable relationship with paperwork.
- Computer savvy with the ability to navigate multiple systems and web browsers, Microsoft Office, and type at least 30WPM.
- Driven by sales and exceeding goals.
