As a faculty member this position will be expected to participate in writing grants for submission to the National Institutes of Health aimed at providing resources for these endeavors, writing scientific papers, as well as participate in the supervision of laboratory technicians, post-doctoral fellows and other learners.
Successful candidate must have outstanding research training with 5 years of progressive experience in psychiatry and medical psychology with a strong interest in sleep and genetics/genomics, a PhD, MD or combined degrees with 5 years postdoctoral training, a defined research direction with an publication record that is commensurate with the level of training and the critical elements of teaching (e.g., knowledge of subject matter, skill in presentation, enthusiastic approach).
This position is posted as Research Investigator/ Research Assistant Professor, Research Associate Professor, Research Professor. The rank of the selected candidate will depend on qualifications.
