Job Title: Resort and Hotel Reservations Specialist

About the Job:
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Resort and Hotel Reservations Specialist to join our team. This remote position allows you to work from the comfort of your home while playing a pivotal role in assisting clients with booking their dream vacations. You'll utilize your expertise in hospitality and customer service to secure the best hotel and resort accommodations for clients, ensuring seamless and memorable travel experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Booking and Reservations: Assist clients in booking hotels, resorts, and vacation packages based on their preferences, ensuring the best possible accommodations that meet their needs.
  • Client Consultation: Understand clients' travel needs, budgets, and special requests to recommend the most suitable resorts and hotel options.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay informed about available properties, including amenities, location, pricing, and deals. Provide clients with detailed information on hotel services, room types, and available extras.
  • Managing Bookings: Process reservations, confirm bookings, and send booking confirmations and relevant information to clients in a timely manner.
  • Problem Resolution: Address any issues or concerns that arise during the booking process, ensuring that clients’ needs are met and their concerns are handled efficiently.
  • Customer Support: Provide exceptional customer service throughout the reservation process, answering questions, offering advice, and guiding clients on hotel policies, booking procedures, and special promotions.
  • Upselling and Cross-Selling: Promote value-added services, such as spa treatments, special packages, or upgraded rooms, and suggest related services to enhance clients’ vacation experiences.
  • Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records of bookings, client interactions, and related administrative details.
  • Follow-up and Client Relations: Follow up with clients before and after their stay to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback for improving future bookings.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Customer Service Excellence: Strong ability to interact with clients in a friendly, professional manner and resolve issues effectively.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to manage reservations accurately, keeping track of client preferences, special requests, and changes.
  • Knowledge of Travel and Hospitality: Familiarity with hotel and resort offerings, booking systems, and the travel industry in general.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain booking details and promote resort features.
  • Sales Experience: Ability to upsell and cross-sell travel packages, services, or accommodations to increase revenue.
  • Multitasking Abilities: Capable of managing multiple reservations and clients at once, handling various tasks without compromising service quality.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to think quickly on your feet and address client concerns promptly and professionally.
