Job Description
Position Summary Responsible for leading the leasing team and executing slip leases to achieve annual business plan occupancy and revenue goals. Job duties include outside sales activities, quality prospective leads, developing sales and marketing plans, representing CRC Marinas at in events and trade shows, and tracking and reporting leasing activities.
Job Duties Direct Sales Activities (75%)- Actively solicit business through external selling activities to meet individual goals
overall business plan occupancy, revenue, and profitability targets.
- Sales calls to boat brokers, yacht clubs and boating membership clubs, boat captain
and marine service providers to generate leads for prospective new marina customers.
- Continuously and promptly follow up with prospective leads for new business.
- Maintain accurate and current data on leasing prospects and slip availability.
- Conduct tours of marina facilities with prospective clients.
- Negotiate lease terms with customers to achieve optimal revenue and profit potential.
Marketing and Sales Programs (15%)- Lead the sales and marketing team and weekly sales meeti
- Create and execute annual sales and marketing plan
- Develop and execute marketing and promotional programs to increase leasing volume
- Ensure marketing collateral and website presentation drives leasing acting.
- Conduct sales and marketing assignments as directed by the General Manager.
Trade Shows and Industry Events (10%)- Develop programming and manage CRC Marinas presence at regional boat shows.
- Engage and network with boating industry groups (CYBA, MRA, and others)
- Overnight travel to regional markets to solicit business as designated by the marketing
plan and General Manager.
Minimum Qualifications / Other Expectations - 2-3 years of sales and marketing experience.
- Maintain a professional appearance and business manner at all times.
- Proficient in Google Office programs.
- Adhere to CRC Marinas and Irvine Company policies and procedures.
- Must be able to swim and have a valid California driver license.
Compensation Base Pay Range: $69,600.00 - $93,000.00
Actual placement within this range may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
