Responsibilities:

Own and grow retail sales, establish and maintain positive relationships to acquire new customers and strengthen existing relationships to further drive revenue growth with dispensaries and consumers.

Research, call, and visit dispensaries on a regular basis.

Develop and execute strategic sales plans to manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to delivery of products.

Educate and engage with clients and potential clients on product offerings, features, and market trends to drive sales as well as maintain understanding of client needs.

Track, report, and analyze sales activities.

Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands.

Requirements:

3+ years of B2B field sales experience in cannabis, vape, tobacco, alcohol, pharmaceutical or other similarly regulated industry.

Self-driven and highly motivated to meet and exceed sales goals.

Proven track record of outside B2B sales and building long-term client relationships.

Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills, ability to pitch and persuade decision-makers, and proven track record of successful upselling techniques and negotiation skills.

Ability to travel up to 75% of the time - travel across Connecticut for client meetings, trade shows, and industry events as needed.

Familiarity with B2B sales tools, such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Salesforce, HubSpot is desired.

Industry knowledge and awareness of cannabis products, market trends, and regulations is highly preferred.

High School Diploma or G.E.D equivalent required. Advanced degrees in business, horticulture, agriculture, or plant science field are desirable.

Compensation : Commission-based role with an initial draw of up to $70,000, based on experience.
