Job Description

Superior Industrial Supply has grown to become one of the largest independent distributors of hose, fittings, fasteners and industrial MRO supplies in the Midwest to fleet maintenance, heavy equipment repair, manufacturing, mining, quarries and other markets.

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven individual to join our team as a Sales Representative. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating leads, acquiring new accounts, support and expand business on existing accounts, and building relationships with clients while providing world-class customer service. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an industrial background who is a forward and independent thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through various channels
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients
  • Present product information to clients and address any questions or concerns
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements
  • Analyze sales data and trends to identify areas for improvement
  • Strategically plan and structure each week to optimize your time with clients
  • Maintain awareness of market trends and needs in order to anticipate clients' priorities and make recommendations
Requirements
  • 1-year Industrial background strongly preferred
  • 1 to 3 year experience in sales
  • Time management skills and ability to work independently
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients through exceptional account management
  • Self-motivated with a drive for success in a competitive sales environment
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
