Job Description: As a School Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting students through various mental health and developmental challenges. You will aid in qualifying students for additional support services and provide on-site psychological services under the jurisdiction of the state and district. Your expertise will help create a positive and inclusive school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide psychological assessments and interventions for students.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
Offer counseling and support to students facing emotional, social, and academic difficulties.
Conduct workshops and training sessions for staff on mental health awareness and strategies.
Maintain accurate and confidential records of student progress and interventions.
Minimum Requirements:
Current State licensures and/or certifications in the state of assignment.
Experience with pediatric and adolescent populations is preferred.
Master's degree in psychology is preferred.
Current CPR certification, if applicable.
Completion of TB Questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray, if applicable.
Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
