Now Hiring: Unarmed Security Guard - Front Desk Luxury Office Building
Location: Downtown St. Petersburg, FL
Pay Rate: $17.75 per hour.
Schedule Coverage Needed: Various shifts available (see below)
Overview:
Excelsior Defense is seeking professional, dependable, and customer-focused unarmed security guards to fill multiple shifts in a Security Guard Front Desk role. This position combines traditional security duties with a polished front desk presence. Guards are expected to patrol the property and maintain a welcoming, secure environment for tenants of this luxury office complex and the adjoining retail courtyard. Guards primary post is the interior of the building.
Open Shifts (Multiple Positions):
2ND Shift (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM):
Part time and Full Time available.
Morning Shift (6:00 AM - 2:00 PM):
Split Schedule - Saturday & Sunday 7AM - 3PM / Monday & Tuesday 3PM - 11PM
Overnight Shift (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM):
Part Time and Full Time available
Key Duties:
Greet tenants and guests with professionalism
Monitor access points and verify entry credentials
Patrol interiors, stairwells, and parking areas
Deter unauthorized activity and respond to incidents
Document occurrences and maintain safety protocols
Requirements:
Valid Florida Class D Security License
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work assigned shifts reliably
