The Opportunity

We're seeking a Senior UI Front-End Developer to revolutionize how our applications look and feel. You'll be our UI champion, bridging the gap between powerful functionality and beautiful, intuitive user experiences. This is a chance to significantly impact our product design direction and build a modern front-end architecture from the ground up. Further, it is a chance to lean into creating meaningful work by taking chaos and potential into beauty, order, and design for human flourishing. 

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of beautiful, responsive user interfaces using modern front-end frameworks, including React
• Establish and maintain a comprehensive component library and design system
• Create smooth, engaging user interactions and animations
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs effectively
• Mentor other developers in modern front-end practices
• Drive our transition toward a more polished, professional UI/UX
• Ensure consistent design across multiple applications
• Note: This is a position where you will need to track your billable hours against client and internal projects

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional front-end development experience 
• Expert-level knowledge of React and its ecosystem
• Strong command of modern CSS (Flexbox, Grid, animations, Sass/Less)
• Experience with UI component libraries (Material-UI, Tailwind, etc.)
• Deep understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices
• Strong eye for design and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate design decisions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with consuming designs from tools like Figma
• Understanding of design principles (typography, color theory, layout, current web and mobile gestures)
• Exposure to UI testing frameworks
• Background in visual design or UI/UX design
• Experience with .NET environments
• Portfolio of previous UI work
