Our client, a global ServiceNow Elite partner, are hiring a ServiceNow ITAM Technical Consultant to join the team in Texas. The successful candidate will assess client requirements, configure the platform to address their needs, and ensure best practices for managing hardware and software assets are fully integrated. Your contributions will be key to enhancing our clients’ IT asset lifecycle and ensuring efficient and compliant asset usage.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather requirements, understand business goals, and design customized ServiceNow ITAM solutions, with a focus on HAM and SAM.
Configure and deploy IT Asset Management (ITAM) modules within ServiceNow, ensuring solutions align with client needs and industry best practices.
Implement hardware and software asset tracking, compliance measures, and lifecycle management capabilities on the ServiceNow platform.
Develop and optimize workflows to enhance asset visibility, improve cost control, and support inventory accuracy.
Integrate ServiceNow ITAM with other systems and data sources to ensure accurate and complete asset information across the organization.
Provide guidance and training to end users and support teams to facilitate smooth adoption and effective asset management practices.
Stay up-to-date with the latest ServiceNow capabilities, focusing on ITAM, HAM, and SAM, and proactively recommend improvements to drive additional value.
Skillset
3+ years of experience with the ServiceNow platform, including hands-on configuration and deployment of ITAM, HAM, and SAM modules.
Strong understanding of the asset management lifecycle, including hardware procurement, software compliance, inventory management, and cost optimization.
Proven ability to design and configure ServiceNow ITAM solutions to meet complex business requirements.
Experience integrating ServiceNow with third-party systems to ensure robust data consistency and streamline asset tracking.
Familiarity with ITIL principles and best practices within the context of IT Asset Management.
Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
