The EC2 Pricing & Commitments engineering team is hiring for an Engineering Manager who is passionate about building software that drives price publication, price modelling and distributed system development for the AWS Savings Plans and EC2 Reserved Instances pricing catalog. An ideal candidate is passionate for optimizing the software development experience at a very large scale in a cloud-based computing environment. You must have an established background in delivering e-commerce, pricing or financial solutions, strong technical skills, excellent project management skills, great communication skills, and a motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced environment.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of engineering team management experience
- 7+ years of working directly within engineering teams experience
- 3+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
- Experience partnering with product or program management teams
