We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Territory Sales Manager to oversee and grow our pet food brand in the Pacific Northwest. If you are passionate about pets, possess strong sales skills, and have a track record of building successful relationships with independent pet stores and distributors, we want to hear from you!
This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of an industry-leading pet food brand in the rapidly growing pet sector. You'll be responsible for managing distributor partners, acquiring new store accounts, and promoting our diverse product portfolio. You'll play a key role in taking our products into new markets and growing brand recognition, all while enjoying the flexibility of a remote role.
What You'll Do
Build and maintain strong relationships with independent pet stores and distributors in your region.
Drive sales by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, expanding product offerings in existing stores, and ensuring all product categories are represented.
Conduct 25+ store visits per week, training and educating store teams on the benefits of our products.
Manage trade spend and participate in national programs (e.g., Astro Loyalty, Astro Offers).
Partner with distributor representatives to drive mutual success through joint sales efforts and merchandising.
Work closely with regional managers to ensure accurate forecasting and inventory levels.
Support the growth of strategic national accounts and participate in off-site events and demonstrations.
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in sales growth and strategy execution within the pet food or consumer goods industry.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to use data to identify trends and opportunities.
A self-starter who is highly motivated, goal-oriented, and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
A genuine love for pets, with an enthusiasm for helping others improve the lives of animals.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in the independent pet specialty channel, particularly working with distributors.
A valid driver's license and ability to travel at least 50% of the time.

Additional Information
A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience is preferred.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Gsuite, and Salesforce is a plus.
This is a remote position, but ideal candidates should be located in the Pacific Northwest region (WA, OR, and nearby areas).
