Job Description
We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Vice President of Logistics and Fulfillment to lead and innovate our logistics and fulfillment strategies. This is a pivotal leadership role where you will develop and execute the roadmap for all fulfillment activities across U.S. kitchens. Your focus will be on operational excellence, cost efficiency, and enhancing customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in 3PL and fulfillment operations, strategic planning skills, and a proven track record of managing large-scale logistics networks.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and lead the strategic roadmap for logistics and fulfillment, prioritizing scalability and operational efficiency.
Manage end-to-end fulfillment strategies, including carrier management, capacity planning, and optimizing service level agreements (SLAs).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve delivery accuracy and timeliness, reducing delivery windows and enhancing tracking systems.
Forge and manage strong partnerships with 3PL providers to streamline operations, optimize cost structures, and improve service quality.
Oversee facility planning, capacity management, and evaluate automation opportunities to support long-term scalability.
Track and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) such as error rates, delivery costs, and SLA adherence, ensuring alignment with company goals.
Lead initiatives to optimize inventory flow and fulfillment processes, working closely with supply chain teams.
Drive innovation and process improvements in logistics to meet evolving customer and business needs.
Skills and Qualifications
10+ years of experience in logistics, fulfillment, or operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Strong expertise in 3PL management, fulfillment strategies, and logistics innovation.
Proven experience scaling operations for organizations with revenue exceeding $1 billion.
Strategic planning experience, particularly in facility capacity planning and automation.
Advanced knowledge of logistics systems, including 3PL platforms, inventory management tools, and delivery tracking technologies.
Exceptional problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement and cost optimization.
Experience in high-SLA environments; experience in food logistics is a plus, but not required.
Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills to manage vendor relationships and drive alignment.
Preferred Location
Brooklyn, NY (Hybrid), with occasional travel (up to 30%).

Compensation
The final salary will be determined based on experience, skills, and market data. The compensation range for this position is $200,000—$230,000 USD.
