Job Summary: As the Senior Sales Leader for Data Center Cables, you will leverage your 15+ years of experience to develop and execute a robust sales strategy that drives business growth and strengthens relationships with key industry stakeholders. This role requires a deep understanding of structured cabling, fiber optics, and data center infrastructure, along with a proven ability to close high-value deals and lead complex sales cycles.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a long-term sales strategy to drive revenue growth and expand market presence in the data center sector.
Identify and pursue high-value opportunities with hyperscale data centers, colocation providers, cloud service providers, and large enterprises.
Build and maintain relationships with C-level executives, network engineers, and data center operations teams to influence decision-making and product adoption.
Lead high-impact negotiations, ensuring favorable contract terms while maintaining strong customer relationships.
Collaborate with engineering, product management, and marketing teams to align offerings with market needs and customer pain points.
Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and industry trend assessments to inform sales strategies and business decisions.
Drive the adoption of innovative cabling products, including high-density fiber optics and structured cabling systems, to meet evolving data center demands.
Provide strategic sales forecasting, pipeline management, and performance reporting to senior leadership.
Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
Required Qualifications:
15+ years of sales experience in data center infrastructure, structured cabling, fiber optics, or networking hardware.
Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving multimillion-dollar deals in the data center industry.
Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence key decision-makers.
Experience managing complex, long sales cycles and enterprise-level relationships.
Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, industry events, and on-site visits.
