Parts Center Hawaii is a fast growing, family owned NAPA business with several locations on the Big Island of Hawaii. We are looking for a qualified individual to become our full time Warehouse/Delivery Driver.
Position is currently open at our Kailua-Kona location.
SUMMARY
Delivers and picks up parts correctly in a timely & friendly manner & works in the store.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Will participate in NAPA Fast Track training program.
Picks up and delivers parts and equipment to clients, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors.
Checks with the Leader, inside salespeople, or Warehouse Supervisor before leaving to coordinate any last-minute pick-ups or deliveries.
Deliver parts to clients when needed and distributes to appropriate drop-off spot.
Verifies that invoice matches items being delivered or picked up.
Checks payments received with the invoices for each delivery.
Keeps an accurate log of daily deliveries and pick-ups. Requests recipient’s signature on each delivery.
Unloads delivery vehicle each night. Turns in all paperwork and undelivered parts.
Able to use all testing & machine equipment to service the clients’ needs.
Ensure that the store is stocked properly
Help create all returns for shipment back to the different vendors for credit.
Handles basic maintenance of the truck including filling tank with gas. checking oil, keeping it clean. and making sure required inspections are performed.
Advises Leader if deliver vehicles need major repairs and maintenance. Helps maintain the professional appearance of the parts department.
Ensures the cleanliness of the store by dispensing of used boxes & trash, sweeping floors & dusting parts bins daily.
Helps with receiving, stocking and displaying of items when they arrive to expedite delivery to clients.
Helps with pulling, packing & shipping of items between stores & clients.
Understands and upholds the store’s standards.
Completes and remains current with all mandatory Safety Compliance and Safeguard training, which includes KPA and Ninjio.
Must have a valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driver’s abstract.
Maintains professional appearance.
