Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis / FP&A

Enzymedica, a worldwide leader in the enzyme supplement industry, is seeking a Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis with strong accounting and financial reporting experience specifically in the manufacturing industry performing month end closings, cost accounting, and financial reporting and analysis. Responsibilities will include managing all day-to-day accounting and financial reporting activities to ensure the financial position of the organization is clearly stated and known by management. This position is onsite in Venice, FL so local candidates or those ready to move to beautiful Venice, FL, should apply.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field required.

· Minimum of five years’ prior experience.

· Candidates with manufacturing experience will receive first consideration.

· Must have accounting and financial reporting experience including performing month end closings, cost accounting, and financial reporting and analysis.

· Any experience with cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) and SQF (Safe Quality Food) is a huge plus.

· Technical experience with a range of business intelligence tools including some SQL basics.

· Experience analyzing operations, researching comparables and making business recommendations; experience in leveraging finance/accounting and IT together to drive the business.

· Experience working in an ERP environment.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

· Knowledge of accounting systems software.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

· Experience with Sage, Sage X3, SEI and Tableau preferred but not required.

· General understanding of ODBC environments

· Ten plus years of experience preferred.

· Highly proficient in Excel with understanding of VBA preferred.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (other duties as required):

  • Develop new processes and improve existing processes relating to financial planning and reporting.
  • Own Enzymedica’s financial data warehouse and BI tools to upgrade and accelerate reporting.
  • Provide detailed analysis and commentary on Company results.
  • Manage key financial processes, including forecasting, budget planning, performance reporting.
  • Provide insights to senior management around financial modelling.
  • Responsible for ensuring financial statement are accurate and fairly present the financial condition of the company for the respective period.
  • Create and promote a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Maintain an efficient and effective Chart of Accounts.
  • Acts as backup for processing payroll.
  • Assists accounting with coding and reconciliation of expenses.
  • Ensure ERP systems are operating to Company standards.
  • Assists Chief Financial Officer with oversight of Risk Management with respect to securing appropriate insurance types and amounts to protect the company’s operations and assets.
  • Assists with Inventory Control / Demand Planning as needed.
  • Assists Chief Financial Officer as needed in managing and projecting the company’s cash flows.
  • Assists the Chief Financial Officer in performing ad hoc financial analyses and reporting.
  • Works with the Chief Financial Officer in the internal audit function and process, and in reviews of internal controls.
  • Point person for coordinating the provision of information in connection with the annual external Independent Audit process.
  • Assists with the development, maintenance, and oversight of adherence to financial and accounting internal controls, policies, and procedures.
  • Adhere to all Enzymedica, Inc. policies, procedures, safety rules and regulations.
  • Participate in Performance Improvement and safety initiatives, including job related and annual training(s), i.e., cGMP.
