Are you a detail-oriented professional with experience in physician recruitment and a passion for supporting healthcare operations? We're looking for a motivated Physician Network Specialist to join our team. Key Responsibilities
Panel Maintenance
Understand fee schedules and turnaround time (TAT) requirements to negotiate physician agreement terms.
Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date physician records, including:
Profile instructions
Fee schedules
Doctor groups
Activation and deactivation status
W9 remit-to changes
Research and identify new panel options when needed.
Facilitate onboarding of new physicians to meet client needs, including:
Managing administrative tasks related to panel maintenance.
Negotiating costs and contract terms within pre-established guidelines.
Collecting necessary paperwork, such as agreements, applications, CVs, W9s, and National Practitioner Data Bank (NPDB) documents.
Collaborating with leadership to determine fee structures.
Providing dictation and system access instructions.
Doctor Recruitment and Management
Recruit and manage physicians in strategic regions, with a focus on supporting specialized needs, such as Washington L&I clinic Independent Medical Examination (IME) services and adjacent states.
Address licensing and certification requirements for doctors willing to record sessions and commit to blocked schedules at designated clinic locations.
Source and fulfill urgent service requests, providing daily updates on progress.
Procure exam locations and maintain a database of available resources in targeted areas for scheduled doctors.
Additional Responsibilities
Contribute to special projects and other duties as assigned based on business needs.
Qualifications
Education
An Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Experience
Experience in physician recruitment within healthcare or insurance is highly desirable.
Relevant business experience in healthcare or insurance is preferred.
Skills and Competencies
Knowledge of physician networks, recruitment, medical specialties, and terminology.
Familiarity with state and federal compliance guidelines.
Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to think critically, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in computer applications and typing.
